Hebridean Adventure Holiday
Isles of Lewis, Harris, North and South Uist, Benbecula and Barra
11 days/10 nights

Information on accommodation available on this holiday.

Don't you just want to be on this warm, inviting beach? This lovely view is of Luskentyre in Harris.

Only for those who seek the most remarkable and memorable environment in the UK.

Optional Extra: We suggest one or two nights in Ullapool to explore the wonderful coastline - perfect for the morning ferry to Stornoway.
You can also start this holiday, sailing from Ullapool, on a Thursday.

SATURDAY - Lewis. Sail from Ullapool at 10.30, arriving in Stornoway at 13.15, and enjoy two nights in Lewis. Sunday is a day of rest when museums, etc. are closed but quieter roads make for relaxing touring.

MONDAY - Harris. A leisurely drive to Harris today for two nights in or near the village of Tarbert or at Leverburgh. The ocean washed sands of empty beaches and rugged mountain panoramas are stunning.

WEDNESDAY - The Uists & Benbecula. The 12.05 ferry from South Harris carries you to Berneray and North Uist in only 60 minutes. Benbecula is where Bonnie Prince Charlie hid before making his escape to Skye, disguised as Flora MacDonald's maid. You can spend your 4 nights in one location or split your time between the islands.

SUNDAY - Barra. Catch the ferry from Eriskay (connected to South Uist by a causeway) to Ardmhor in Barra with 4 daily crossings, taking 40 minutes.
Relax for two nights on this beautiful island. Only five miles across by eight miles long, it is perfect for walking, cycling, heritage, flora and fauna and famous for its unusual beach airport.

TUESDAY - A fond Gaelic farewell as you sail from Castlebay at 09.20, arriving in Oban at 14.10 where your Hebridean Adventure ends.
Your holiday includes
10 nights accommodation and ferry crossings with own car as detailed. Based on two sharing car & en-suite twin/double bedroom:

You could visit Inverewe Garden or the Achiltibuie Hydroponicum and enjoy a boat trip to the delightful Summer Isles. Choice of restaurants in the village.
