KEY
There are six beautiful log cottages situated on a hillside with lovely views looking out over the Sound of Sleat in the southern end of the Isle of Skye, an area known as the ' Garden of Skye '.
Two of the log cottages are individual and four are semi-detached. One cottage sleeps 4 and five cottages sleep 4 plus 1 or 2 children. One cottage is ramped & suitable, with assistance, for wheelchair users.
These lovely cottages are warm, very comfortable and equipped to a high standard. There is an open plan living room with a patio door to your own verandah with views and dining kitchen, a bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Five cottages have an extra single room or double bunk room ideal for children.
The separate, more traditional Forester's Cottage sleeps 4 people and nestles in trees combining tradition with modern convenience. It has a living room, dining kitchen, bathroom and one double and one twin bedroom.
Each cottage has a cooker, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, telephone, television, video, radio, cassette and CD player. All electricity, bed linen and towels are included.
There is also the separate Flora McDonald Suite on the first floor of the Stables building above the Visitor Centre which sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom.
Guests can walk across the hills of the Clan Donald Lands Trust 20,000 acre estate with its stunning seascapes, woodland walks and Highland paths.
Also included is entry into Armadale Castle Gardens (40 acres) & Museum of the Isles (April - October) with Visitor Centre and restaurant.
There are local hotels a short drive away.
